Small Game Types
These games will be the majority of matches early in the event, in an attempt to rank up players and allow different brackets and classes to flesh out for the tournament and main events.
Duel
Duels are standard one on one matches between a players of a similar level. Ranked duels offer the coveted chance to reach the next tier of your class and are the primary method of advancement. The winner of the duel will remain in the circle while the fallen must return to the end of the line. After three victories, the victor will progress to the next tier.
Team Duel
Similar to the standard duel, different in that multiple players will square off against each other in either even or uneven teams. These matches are rarely ranked.
Last Man Standing
This battle includes 5-10 players in a free for all where there are no teams or alliances, last man standing is victorious. These matches are occasionally ranked, the sole survivor often raising in status with their victory.
Iron Man
This frantic battle hosts a long rectangle with all of the weapons piled at one end. Players will be chosen at random to enter the field at which time they are free to go grab a weapon. As soon as someone crosses the line into the field they are considered active and may be attacked. Take care! The fights are fast and chaotic as you never know when a player will be chosen behind you and end your streak with a well placed blade to the back. Stay on your toes! Due to the method of pick and play, unless an extremely impressive survival streak is displayed, these matches are not ranked.
Face Off
Small variant of Iron Man where instead of us choosing your next opponent the victor may call out the opponent of his choice from the benches to face off against his or her rival. If the defender chooses, they may call more than one opponent to the fight.
Zombie Attack
This game involves 5-10 (Occasionally more) players and one zombie. The “humans” will have an armband that shows who they are. Zombies (and any human who becomes one) will not have one. This is a last man standing variant where, each person the zombie kills will become a zombie as well (They must then remove their armband.) Humans who are simply wounded, IE: the loss of a limb, will become zombies in 20 seconds regardless.
Zombies must shamble- they are not allowed under any circumstance to run. (Moaning and groaning is optional but promoted.)
If a Zombie is killed, all players must move away from it, and it will come back to life in ten seconds. If it is merely wounded, it loses it's limbs as normal until both arms are lost, it is then dead for ten seconds and may rise again, fully healed. The last human alive, is the winner. While not strictly ranked, the surviving human stands a chance at raising in level.
