Kingdoms and Player Groups
Kingdoms
There will be four main factions that players will be assigned to at the discretion of the admins to ensure balance. The exploits of each faction's players in certain battles will be recorded and tallied together to see which faction is currently in power on a chart. Having your faction be in power offers all players in that faction special perks during some of the other events. Any number of things may occur if your faction is currently in power. Ties may fall in your favor, first choice of weapons or sides may be yours, all at the Marshal's discretion. Needless to say however, it can be a powerful advantage.
How points are awarded and detracted depend on who is in power. If you are currently not in the lead, a win awards a point, and a loss detracts nothing. If your are currently the faction in power, a win awards a point, but a loss removes one as well.
Player Groups
When a player reaches at least level three, they get the option to join or create a player group. Player groups are, like they sound, groups of players allied and registered together. While most group matches are collections of random players drawn together by pick of the moment, matches between player groups stand to gain or lose much more. One can only create a group out of members of their own faction- and both your victories and losses reflect upon that faction as well as matters of civility. If one of your group members is caught cheating for instance, your entire faction may take a hit for it so choose your groups wisely.
Player teams are grouped not by level but by the amount of players in that group, so a group with five players will be in a category above a group of three in terms of what it is called, there is a list below of optional names. This is a double edged sword however, as quantity does not always mean quality. Having more members means that if a group battle is called for, chances are you will have enough people on hand to compete. Controversially, if you do not choose your members carefully, you may lose the match to more skilled players.
Groups can register under the name of an object, element, or some other singular noun (Certain limitations apply, as well as exceptions.). but their title changes depending on the players enlisted.

As an example, a three person group who chooses “Steel” would be known as the “The Group of Steel” or “Trio of Steel” might grow in number to become the seven person “Band of Steel”.
